Kerascoët is the name of artist created in 2000, a couple of designers illustration, comics and animation french, composed of Pommepuy Marie, born in 1978 in Brest and Sebastien Cosset, born in 1975 in Paris. The name of this pair of authors comes from the village of Kerascoët in Britain, where Mary grew up. They meet at the end of their studies at the Ecole Olivier de Serres.
The Kerascoet use a wide range of techniques : watercolours, ink, computer, even textiles. They worked with Johan Sfar on the animated series "Petit Vampire"; they published many comics including "Jolies Tenebres", "Miss Pas Touche" and "Beauté".
The Kerascoet were influenced by the previous drawing by their friend Dominique Bertail, who represented a swimming pool in a villa : they decided to imagine what would happen if an aquatic creature would take the sketchbook with her.
